Course Description

A Safe Room (sometimes know as panic room) is any room in your house that you can use in case of an emergency, that you feel safe in. It can be your living room, bathroom, ,bedroom or even your child’s room. Any of these rooms can be your safe haven.

A Safe Room is a shelter, detached or within a structure, that is strong enough to provide safety from a specific life-threatening event. The type of event you want to be safe from (e.g., a weather event, a terrorist event or home invasion) will determine the specifications of the safe room.

Course participants with gain a good understanding of setting up a Safe Room in your home in case of a home invasion.
